Job Posting Title Inventory Control A
Job Description SummaryMaintains accurate Inventory records by performing detailed daily tasks that ensure daily receiving and shipping activities are accurately reflected in the Inventory totals. Follows Blue Diamond Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's), policies and procedures and safety procedures while performing assigned duties.
Responsible for corrections to grower receipts, STO's, HU's and production; verifying Receiving Logs, STO log and STO's; box manifest, box weight difference and box receipt return; Entry of production & usage, checking production reports and balancing production; check FIFO for shipments; material status changes, stock transfers and Loss & Gains; Pool transfers, samples, warehouse transfers, and packaging usage; GIS/SAP Reconciliation, DC and STO Reconciliation. Distribution of various reports. Responsible for correcting data entry errors, identify and resolve issues.
Responsible for Cycle Count of both product and packaging on a daily, weekly and monthly basis using various methods in order to maintain high level of inventory accuracy.
Monitor the PPO load movement and status changes.
Filing of all appropriate paperwork as needed.
Other duties and responsibilities as required or assigned by the Supervisor.

POSITION DIMENSIONS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Education Level and Focus:
High School diploma or equivalent required. College classes in Accounting and/or Bookkeeping.
Years and Type of Related Experience Required:
Must have at least 1 year of previous experience in Inventory Control. Previous experience in accounting and/or bookkeeping procedures recommended.
Skills and Abilities
Interpersonal and Communication:
Must have strong verbal and written communication skills to coordinate with various departments and Supervisors as needed.
Technical and Analytical:
Basic computer and math skills are required. Requires visual concentration and strong attention to detail. Problem solving abilities are an important part of this position.
Administration and Operations:
Must understand Blue Diamond Growers HACCP procedures, Good Manufacturing Procedures (GMPs), BDG policies and safety practices.

Standard office setting with typical office equipment and controlled temperatures.
Occasionally requires walking out to warehouse to verify counts where forklift traffic, almond dust is present.
