NCD - Henderson NC
Inventory Clerk role is the single point contact for an operational area for material inventory and transactions. The role is responsible for ensuring efficient operations via having correct material inventories and assisting with inbound and outbound schedules. The Clerk will work to maintain the level of skills and capability throughout the organization and ensure proper transactions so that quality and inventory are at standard.
Liaison to materials inventory.
Work closely with scheduling team in understanding the site needs.
Create Process orders if needed.
Create and manage waste.
First point of contact to resolve transactional issues.
Track and resolve any late inbound/outbound deliveries and incorrect paperwork issues
Manage inventories of all raw & non inventory items to ensure appropriate inventories levels.
Perform daily/weekly inventories counts, inventory reconciliation communicate results.
Track all incorrect material movements in SAP.
Support production by ensure all inventory movements and processes are being followed to ensure inventory accuracy and eliminate quality errors.
Investigate and document system and process variances, perform root cause analysis.
Ensure all non-conformance materials are on hold in SAP & disposals are process on a timely matter.
Manage and communication/coordination of constraints to reduce material detention charges and improve operational efficiencies.
Point of contact for scheduling of outbound non-sellable shipments (waste, recycling, etc)
1.Education & Professional Qualification
High school diploma or equivalent plus 2-3 years' work experience.
Familiarity with inventory control, SAP and production. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. To work with a team and effectively interact with other departments and outside vendors.

Scheduling & tracking of daily deliveries. Enters all materials into system and transfers material to proper storage areas.
Monitors and track all inventory movements for production and works with production to correct any inventory discrepancies. Conducts daily and weekly inventory counts and ensures inventory accuracy.
