McKesson is currently seeking a receiving material handler candidate for LaVergne, TN. This position administers and operates the organization's warehouses, including processing, packaging and storage of supplies, materials and equipment | Accounts for all materials and supplies in the facility; audits goods received into warehouse | Oversees receipt, storage and shipment of materials, and related reporting in accordance with established procedures | Prepares and coordinates schedules for receiving materials to control the flow of goods and regulate warehouse space | Ensures the effectiveness of operating procedures, space utilization, maintenance, and protection of facilities and equipment.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 6:00 A.M. until completion
Responsibilities:
Responsible for all incoming shipments.
Inventory responsibilities include inspecting packages upon arrival for possible damage and quality, verifying packing slips match items received, accurately entering information into the MRP system, securing the documents, and issuing materials to appropriate locations.
Maintaining the highest level of productivity and accuracy
Passion around working for a leading healthcare distribution company focused on distributing medical and surgical supplies and equipment to more than 50% of Americas hospitals, clinics, pharmacies, and other healthcare facilities.
This role works reports to Inventory Supervisor.
Minimum Requirements:
Critical Requirements:
Operation of powered industrial equipment is required.
Work experience in a face-paced, distribution or warehouse environment or stock room strongly preferred, picking/packing, scanning, or various other warehouse functions.
The ability to work the hours listed above, in addition to overtime, as needed
Strong reading, addition and subtraction skills needed to manage order specific documentation.
Basic computer skills utilizing outlook and SAP.

$15.38 - $25.63
