Inventory Associate

The Opportunity:

This position is responsible for picking and packing consumer placed orders for parts. These parts are to repair warranty related needs or to replace parts at consumer's expense. Uses software and maintains databases related to the Parts Procurement business to include, Clippership, Exeter, Mimics, FedEx International Shipping software, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.

What Your Impact Will Be:

• Pick-Pack orders to be fulfilled to ensure customer satisfaction and in a manner consistent with driving efficiency and cost savings

• Utilizes various shipping software to ensure postage is affixed to packages and sorted by carrier

• Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized workspace to eliminate potential hazards in the workplace

• Release orders and take photos of new parts as needed

• Support Returns and special projects

• Assist with inbound/outbound shipments

• Replenish pick locations and consolidate overstock locations

• The position requires multitasking and efficient time management skills to prioritize and keep

• Ability to efficiently handle a high volume of work while maintaining accuracy and attention to necessary detail

Physical Activities:

• This position requires standing on your feet for up to 8 hours per day

• Other activities may include: balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping and talking, hearing and repetitive motions

• Visual acuity is required

• Requires walking to a pick location designated on an order. May lift up to 65 pounds

• Repetitive Motions: Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers

• The worker may be subjected to the following hazards: moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles (i.e. forklift)

Qualifications:

• High School education or equivalency required

• 1-2 years related experience in Consumer Services / Warehouse environment

• Exemplary attendance and job performance

• MIMICS, and Microsoft Office is helpful, but not necessary

The base hourly rate for this position is between $15.15 and $19.

This range is indicative of projected hiring range, however base hourly rate will be determined based on a candidate's work location, skills and experience.
