We are currently recruiting for an Inventory Assistant at Central Regional Hospital in Butner, NC.   The primary purpose of this position is to transport by truck or other state vehicles equipment, supplies and other freight to the proper location on a day-to-day basis, Position will also be responsible to check in various freight that comes from carriers daily, store all equipment, supplies. as well as appliances, in the proper location.

Will be responsible for keeping the Warehouse neat and clean of any plastic or trash that may cause bodily injuries. Other duties as appropriate and assigned.

This is a full-time position and eligible for the full State benefits package.  The normal work hours are Monday - Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm; however, flexibility is required to meet hospital needs.

  • Good math skills

  • Must be able to walk a long period of time and able to lift 50lbs plus

  • Must have a valid NC driver license

  • Must be able to drive a box truck and forklift

High school or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and one year of related experience;
