We are looking for an Inventory Analyst Supervisor. This role is responsible to define and implement best practices in wall to wall inventory management processes for finish goods, sub-assemblies, components and raw material. The role will own the cycle count activity, root cause of variation and leading the action plans to avoid reoccurrences, the role will own reporting metrics of inventory management KPI's like days on hand, daily inventory levels, quality of inventory, cycle counts compliance and accuracy, providing visibility to the materials and plant operations leadership team.

  • Select, motivate, train and ensure development of a competent cycle counting staff

  • Support the Materials Manager for creating the plant inventory plan

  • Monitor and track inventory levels

  • Establish the ABC inventory parameters and counts frequency and ensure compliance to the DRiV Global Supply Chain Cycle Count Procedure

  • Make recommendations to enhance inventory management business processes and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiencies.

  • Responsible for reporting inventory key performance metrics to internal stakeholders

  • Responsible to coordinate excess and obsolete for Materials; liaison with finance

  • Monitor daily adherence and compliance to the cycle count process

  • Reconcile inventory variances, root cause analysis and action plans

  • Monitor and ensure cycle count personnel conform to company policies and procedures while maintaining a safe and cost-efficient environment at all time

  • Be familiar with and ethically operate in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and governmental procedures relative to reporting activities

Required Experience

Education: Bachelor's Degree in supply chain or business disciplines or equivalent work experience

Skills & Experience:

  • Advanced broad-based supply chain inventory management, process development and manufacturing operations knowledge

  • Demonstrated knowledge of SAP ERP Systems

  • Demonstrated competency in the MS Office Suite of products

  • Strong organization, planning, technical and negotiation skills

  • Superior process, analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Leadership skills - influence all facets of the organization, mentoring, coaching and teaching

VIEW JOBS 8/2/2021 12:00:00 AM 2021-10-31T00:00 Job Description: The Inventory Analyst is responsible for driving inventory optimization and materials planning excellence through analysis and ownership of item master planning parameters, MRP results evaluation, and production planning review and management. This position supports engineered manufacturing operations for $120M in annual revenue with as many as 49,000 active item masters. Requirements * Analyze statistical inventory data and forecasted production planning information to determine optimal inventory strategy by item number. * Own, review & update planning parameters for all item masters in accordance with the ABC/XYZ categorization and product inventory and planning strategies. * Review MRP exception messages to determine inventory and item master planning adjustments required to fulfill the production plan. * Evaluate changes in product demand forecasts and develop plans to resolve overstock and understock of all inventory items. * Partner with Production planners to evaluate production capacity planning and ensure that the inventory and manufacturing supply plan is sufficient to meet the backlog and forecasted demand plan. * Collaborate with the site CI leader and operations team to analyze physical inventory location and organization throughout the operation to drive optimal inventory handling and storage practices so that internal handling and transportation waste is minimized, and inventory count accuracy is improved. * Coordinate sales effort with buyers and marketing department, to also include new product launches. * Collaborate with Commercial Ops and Sales to evaluate current policies regarding Customer Returns, Cancellation and Lead Times Key Results Areas: * Master data accuracy * ERP maintenance & updates * Physical inventory DSI * MRP exception messages * Shipment on time delivery performance * Past due backlog Requirements * Bachelor's degree in an engineering or business-related field. For internal FLS candidates, 7 years of related experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree. * Strong understanding of the function of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and Master Production Scheduling (MPS) systems. * Demonstrated proficiency with data analytics preparation and autonomous decision making. * Basic business acumen and understanding of the financial impact of inventory account balances, working capital, and how to influence associated business results. * Strong verbal and written communication skills across all levels of the organization, with fluency in English, preparation and presentation skills a must.
