This position is accountable for the weekly execution of the monthly Plant Production Plan, analyzing various material management reports to insure accurate deployment of inventory to the Distribution Service Centers to meet customer demand, and analyzing regional specials to recommend forecasting/discontinuing of products.
Major tasks include, but are not limited to:
Reviews manufacturing requirements (demand levels).
Tracks/expedites orders to precisely meet customer demand.
Adjusts weekly load for plant capacity vs. demand.
Resolves scheduling problems related to flow of products through the plant.
Monitors timeliness of plant and Distribution Service Center shipments.
Monitor forecast accuracy at SKU level and the effect of forecast error on inventory levels.
Work closely with Technical to minimize obsolete/surplus finished goods.
Directs re-labeling activities in the Distribution Service Centers.
Preparing, distributing and communicating various reports, including but not limited to the TAKT, Disservice Reports, Load Factor, Re-Mortgage Report, and Balance Report.
Participation towards completion of other related tasks and duties as directed or needed
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must have a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution or at least 4 years of work experience
Must have experience with Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel and Power Point
Must be legally authorized to work in the country for which you are applying for employment without now or in the future needing sponsorship for employment visa status
Previous experience planning or coordinating shipments
Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain or Logistics
At least 3 years work experience in supply chain environment
Strong verbal, written, and oral communication skills
Previous experience working in a manufacturing and/or distribution environment
Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) Certification
Willingness to relocated, if considered for promotional opportunities
