We Supply Your Future. Dedicated to improving student health, School Health Corporation, a national, full-service provider of health supplies and services to schools, is seeking an Inventory Analyst. This is a full time position, with benefits. We are a successful family-owned business, professionally managed, that has been in operation since 1957. You'll be working in our brand new, state of the art facility in Rolling Meadows.

The Inventory Analysts (IA) responsibility is to manage and maintain proper inventory levels for stocked products within multiple products categories.

Job Duties / Responsibilities

  • The IA utilizes our ERP system (SX.e) to create, send and manage replenishment purchase orders within assigned supplier base, ensuring timely delivery and correct quantities, while responding to changing demand patterns.

  • The IA reviews unusual sales and initiates adjustments to future forecast to favorably affect future replenishments.

  • The IA is also responsible for the resolution of purchase order receiving issues within our warehouse, including damages, mis-shipments, short and over receipts, and returns to vendors through utilization of our ERP system and CRM system (SalesForce).

  • The IA has direct control over quantity and timing of purchases with impacting results on the following KPIs: on inventory turns, fill rates, inventory dollars, GMROI, and % of slow-moving inventory.

Position Requirements

Education and/or Experience: Minimum of 1 - 5 years related experience and/or training. Bachelors degree required or equivalent Supply Chain degree/certification.

Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have good working knowledge of Excel, Word and internet experience.

Other Skills:
Excellent organizational skills. Ability to multi-task.
