The Inventory Analyst is a multi-faceted role that will provide analytical and planning support for Altice USA Supply Chain, including Altice Customer Premise Equipment (CPE), Inventory, and/or Logistics functions.

The Inventory Analyst responsibilities will include one or more of the following: modeling CPE equipment needs; planning for Network Material inventory; operational screening and repair forecasts; direct to home fulfillment and Third-Party vendor oversight.

The Inventory Analyst will be required to collaborate cross functionally with internal partners and third-party vendors to ensure the successful execution of Altice USA strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute new processes for demand and material forecasting by SKU and department.

  • Work cross-functionally with internal partners to execute short and long-term solutions for demand and material forecasting.

  • Data assembly for demand and material planning processes, models, monthly consensus review, and KPI performance reporting tools.

  • Maintain and continually analyze accuracy of demand forecasts and demand forecasts volatility, and maintaining demand forecast parameters as necessary.

  • Recommend and execute changes based on accuracy analysis and other driving factors including history, trends, and initiatives based on customer/field feedback.

  • Ability to flex processes and analytics within the entrepreneurial environment with ambiguity and autonomy.

  • Merge business knowledge and expertise with statistical models to enhance the forecast while also integrating input from Sales, Marketing, and other key stakeholders.

  • Participate in special projects, escalations, and executive presentations as needed.

  • The Inventory Analyst will work closely with operations, business planning, and vendors in development of actionable operational forecasts and annual budgets.

  • Periodic analysis including month-end financial closings: The position will assist in the preparation of periodic analysis comparing operating results to budget / forecast and trends. Perform root cause analysis of any variances from plan and provide resolution recommendations. During the month end process the Inventory Analyst will compile all necessary information and supporting documentation required by Accounting for all home delivery and CPE and network material repair accruals.

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance or other application field of study; Or equivalent years or work experience.

  • Minimum of two years of forecasting and material planning experience; must be experienced with forecast methods as they are applied to demand and material forecast systems and process, and must have an understanding on how to manipulate the forecast parameters to maximize demand forecast accuracy and minimize demand forecast volatility.

  • Minimum of one year of experience with inventory management & demand planning and replenishment process.

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel with ability to demonstrate advanced use of lookups, pivot tables, multi table data manipulation.

  • Ability to use Oracle data extract tools.

  • Experience leading projects and implementation efforts.

  • Outstanding analytical skills and be data-driven.

  • Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.

  • Accuracy and strong detail orientation.

The Data Quality Specialist position will be a key enabler of BI&S Data Quality strategy, and will be highly influential in helping to shape its future direction to meet our clients' needs for high quality complete, accurate and timely data in OBI product and solutions. This role will be working alongside with Data Quality Analyst and reporting to the Data Quality Manager The Data Quality Specialist will be expected to identify appropriate opportunities for Data Quality (DQ) automation of OBI solutions and develop associated test DQ frameworks and processes. In addition, this candidate will participate in the establishment of long-term improvement of testing processes and tools, as well as reviewing and improving requirements traceability to ensure appropriate test coverage. Work with project team in test requirements gathering and analysis. Work with Business Analysts, Data Quality Analyst, Developers, ETL and Data warehouse engineers to validate ETL scripts. Create stored procedures and queries to automate testing. Responsible for writing, executing and debugging SQL queries to perform data completeness, correctness, data transformation and data quality testing. Ensure content and structure of all testing documents artifacts are documented and maintained. Prepare review test conditions, test cases and test scripts. Execute test cases scripts. Log and track defects to closure The Data Analyst must have programming proficiency with analytical platform software and BI systems expertise including but not limited to SQL, Alteryx, Microstrategy, SAS and Tableau Responsibilities & Duties Design of test scenarios and test plans to ensure that tests can be implemented and executed to validate ETL and BI/reporting requirements. Assist with creating project resource estimates, metrics to track completion phase, defect reports, defect prevention, development efficiency and quality. Run test validations at various levels including DB validation, logging validation, and UI validation. ETL testing requires writing SQL statements extensively by testing team or may be tailoring the SQL provided by development team. Upon successful completion prepare summary report and turnover for test results review. End to end data quality process for ETL/BI and Reporting projects includes: Data Collection * Check compliance for data quality parameters like completeness, accuracy, consistency, * Risk assessment for integrating data in new applications. * Ensuring that all data has been transformed correctly during the extract-transform-load (ETL) process. * Ensuring that the ETL process correctly rejects, substitutes default values, corrects or ignores and reports invalid data. Data Integration * Check compliance and define approach with custom SQLs for integration rules. * Validate results based on business rules and integration rules. * Provide data quality reports. Data Mart * Validate all the measures and measure groups (including derived measures, aggregations). * Validate all the dimensions (including Slowly Changing Dimensions), attribute hierarchy, etc. Regression Testing * Ensuring existing functionality remains intact each time a new release of code is completed. Data Presentation * Ensure data from the data mart is mapped & designed correctly for reports.
