Responsible for ensuring perpetual inventory record accuracy through cycle counts, annual physical inventory counts, adjustments, and associated root cause/corrective action analysis, own process behind POR checkbook and Ex245, proactively identify inventory reductions opportunities and keep inventory reductions initiatives owners accountable against targets. Also will be responsible to fulfill analysis based on data collections out of various systems to support Continuous Improvement across operations, supply chain, manufacturing, planning.
Plans, leads, and manages annual physical count in accordance with Emerson policy.
Work with all global Daniel locations and with FSG to identify and exploit opportunities to improve overall inventory performance.
Review world area Ex245s and provide input as necessary, both during the annual budgeting cycle and monthly POR process.
Conducts analysis using the Emerson Tools to drive on-hand inventory to lowest feasible levels consistent with customer service objectives.
Monitors Oracle System generated reports to detect trends in material variances that affect inventory record accuracy.
Plans for future inventory requirements based on orders, production schedules, and forecasts.
Facilitates excess and obsolete meetings and associated follow up to the finance team.
Reviews and maintains the Kanban replenishment system in Oracle and Ultriva.
Identifies, Leads, and Supports Perfect Execution projects to drive improvements in inventory record accuracy.
Supports all Product Development Initiatives and provides analysis for life cycle management.
Other duties as assigned.
Education / Experience / Language skills required:
Bachelors Degree in business management, finance, accounting or Industrial Engineering
Minimum of 3 years in inventory control/management or related field in manufacturing environment.
Experience working with an integrated ERP system
Ability to work effectively with all levels of management.
Self-motivated and functions well in a team environment
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to solve problems independently
Must be able to travel domestically and internationally (up to 5%).
