This is work interviewing and/or determining the eligibility of persons applying to receive assistance from the government programs and agency resources, such as public health and social services programs, by Effectively assisting customers

in the Customer Service Center following the Department's Performance Management Plan. This position will be located at the Daytona Beach Lobby.

  • Effectively assessing customers' needs.

  • Referring customers to community agencies as appropriate.

  • Timely and accurately escalating customers' complaints/inquires as appropriate.

  • Documenting customers' records timely and following departmental procedures.

  • Assisting customers with the completion of online or paper applications.

  • Assisting customers with My ACCESS Accounts.

  • Effectively communicate with internal and external customers as by departmental procedures.

  • Effectively maintaining customer lobby log following Performance Management Plan.

  • Explains eligibility requirements, form completion requirements, community resources for financial assistance,

and/or provides program benefits

Must have more than 1-3 years of clerical experience in an office setting. Must have more than 1 year of customer service experience. Must have more than 1 -3 years of computer experience.

This is an hourly position paid at $13.00 an hour and is not negotiable.
