Interventional Radiology Technologist & Vascular-1 suite and 1 room (used for less complex cases) -25-32 cases per dayRequired Certifications:
BLS, ACLS, ARRT (VI) and AZ license
Common diagnoses/Types of patients:
nephro, urinary work, fistulagrams, hemoembolization's, CT and US guided biopsies: bone marrow, thyroids, etc., thrombectomies, some PEs, and occasional DVT.
Cases done in room: l
less complex, para or thoracentesis, port exchanges, picc, lines, etc.
More Complex Vascular (done in shared cath lab space): peripheral vascular disease work- DVTs, PE, penumbra for thrombectomies
