Description
1.Demonstrates competency in assisting the Interventional Radiologist or Radiology Assistant during procedures.
2.Demonstrates knowledge about and proficient use of all equipment including emergency equipment, and supplies.
3.Demonstrates knowledge to ensure correct patient, diagnosis, and exam and demonstrates correct & acceptable radiographic, positioning, and scrub techniques.
4.Demonstrates knowledge in Explaining exams/procedures to patient and families.
5.Demonstrates knowledge of all emergency equipment/supplies.
6.Utilizes proper immobilization devices to control patient movement.
7.Raises concerns related to patient care, patient safety or patient satisfaction to Lead or Supervisor.
8.Maintains equipment and requests service as needed.
9.Performs other duties as assigned.
