Among our many achievements our team was recently awardedthe ACC Platinum Award for heart attack care, placing them in an elite group of hospitals across the nation for heart attack care.Summary: Position operates all equipment, computers, and digital imagingprocessing equipment during assigned shift and on-call in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab). Performs duties such as scrub assistant, procedure documentationhemodynamic monitoring, and safe X-ray equipment operationdigital processing as appropriate. Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development to perform procedures on and assist in the care of the adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient. Requirements: Current RT(R), RCIS, RCES Current Texas MRT license if current ARRT (R) Current BLS and ACLS American Heart Association Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology Program or an accredited Cardiovascular program or hold an RCIS license Prior acute care hospital experience preferred (Cath LabCardiology, Advanced Diagnostic Radiology, Interventional Radiology, Electrophysiology) Basic knowledge of cardiac cath lab and hemodynamic monitoring Must Obtain: ACLS within 1 year of hire Cath Lab Registry within (2) years of hire for Rad Tech Registry within 6 months if graduate from accredited cardiovascular program Work Type: Full Time For more information please email Heather Robinson at heather. maidenschristushealth. org _ _
