Unit Description: Greater than two years of experience as an RN is required.
Previous experience in the administration and monitoring of patients receiving moderate sedation is recommended. Nursing experience in critical care nursing is preferred. Call includes one weekend (Friday evening-Monday morning) and four weekdays (Monday through Thursday) every nine weeks.
Set call schedule. Response time is 30 minutes. The inpatient interventional radiology team at The University of Vermont Medical Center (a primary stroke center and level 1 trauma center) performs procedures related to vascular access, palliative treatment, traumas, thrombectomies, thrombolysis, cancer treatments, strokes, and pain injections – just to name a few On-call:
