As an Interpretation Coordinator you will serve as support to existing clients and manage and coordinate the completion of interpretation projects. This is a dynamic role where you work closely with the clients as well as the sales teams to ensure the highest quality of standard for all projects you oversee.

Description:

  • Consult and educate sales and clients regarding interpretation service options and the interpretation coordination process.

  • Liaise with clients and sales to ensure that individual projects are set up appropriately.

  • Oversee the execute of projects with keen attention to detail, resulting in a successful event, meeting or appointment.

  • Manage all logistical matters related to simultaneous interpretation events from beginning to end, working with client, vendors and interpreters to ensure a successful event.

  • Comply with internal regulations, processes and procedures in line with ISO standards.

  • Discuss issues with clients, sales and interpreters and creatively problem solve to alleviate issues, including trouble-shooting problem projects or events.

  • Juggle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

  • Understand and abide by individual project instructions.

  • Establish and maintain excellent relationships with contract interpreters, language raters, equipment vendors, sales and clients.

  • Negotiate rates on a broad scale or on a project by project basis with contract vendors.

  • Clearly and effectively communicate any issues/updates/caveats or additional information to sales or clients as soon as that information is available.

  • Research and understand all industries that TransPerfect markets to including industry leaders, current events and any other pertinent data.

  • Perform other special projects or duties when required.
