Internship: Marketing Analyst - Syracuse, NY

Eaton's ES GEIS CHD division is currently seeking a Internship: Marketing Analyst - Syracuse, NY. This role will be located in Syracuse NY.

What you'll do:

Marketing Analyst & Development

Marketing is seeking an intern to assist with development of market information, product development initiatives and marketing collateral including installation and maintenance sheets, catalogs, price lists, brochures, videos and CDs. The intern may assist with literature fulfillment, coordination of direct marketing campaigns, and management of customer contact databases. Desktop publishing (Quark, Indesign), PowerPoint and Excel skills are required. Ideal candidates would be interested in a multiple semester commitment - full time during the summer and school holidays, and part time during term time.

The intern prepares information required for market product introduction materials, bulletins, competitive matrix charts and other related literature. The intern is tasked with researching markets and compiling data into a usable, actionable manner for Product Line Managers and the Global Product Line Manager. The intern will document market information needed for industry growth analysis and competitive products. The intern will also provide assistance with developing presentation material for the Product Managers to ensure, clear, crisp fact-based communication. There will also be hands on work with product, securing, labeling and setting up competitive physical library's of our products and in some cases competitive produdctgs.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in classes at a college or university.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.

• Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher (please don't round).

• Technology/systems/PC-masters a proficient knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc., willingness to learn/use new software/
