Starting Rate: $16.59/Hour
Work up to 20 hours per week for ten to twelve calendar weeks.
Anticipated start date mid-June.
EXAMPLES OF WORK TO BE PERFORMED:
It is the intention of the internship to provide students with opportunities such as work assignments, research, attending meetings and other relevant work activities that will broaden understanding of opportunities within local city government.
Interns will have exposure to the following departments which provide support for multiple municipal functions. Interns may be placed in a rotation or a specific department that is relevant to their degree path and potential career interest.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Flexible, energetic, and outgoing
Strong writing and communication skills
Ability to work well in teams and independently
Must have reliable transportation
Must be able to work morning, evening, and weekend hours as necessary
Knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Windows applications
REQUIRED EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
Must be at least 17 years of age
The internship is designed for college students currently enrolled in an accredited college or university.
