This position is expected to start in-person around August or September 2024 and continue through the entire fall term (i.e. through end of 2024) or into early 2025 if available. We ask for a minimum of 12 weeks, full-time and on-site, for most internships. Please consider before submitting an application.
International Students: If your work authorization is through CPT, please consult your school on your ability to work 40 hours per week before applying. You must be able to work 40 hours per week on-site. Many students will be limited to part-time during the academic year.

The Design Studio Architectural team is looking for a talented, motivated, and creative individual to join us in a rewarding and fast-paced work environment. The candidate will work alongside the Studio Architects and closely with an interdisciplinary team to contribute to various architectural projects not only at Tesla's Global Headquarters in Austin, but also across the globe. This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in architectural design within the electric vehicle industry. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, quick to adapt, and must be a communicative team player.
Design concept ideation
Materials, finishes and systems research
Architectural and interior detailing
Site visits and surveys for data gathering
Renderings, diagrams and reports for design presentations
Work with team to take projects from concept to completion
Currently pursuing a degree in architecture or related field
A genuine interest in Tesla's mission and the electric vehicle industry
Modeling and documentation software (Revit (must), Rhino (preferred))
Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Rendering (Enscape, TwinMotion)
Must provide a portfolio
