What You Will Do

All Lowe's associates deliver quality customer service while maintaining a store that is clean, safe, and stocked with the products customers need. As a Customer Service Associate Sales Floor, this means:

  • Being friendly and professional, and engaging customers to help with project needs and answer questions.

  • Ensuring merchandise is accurately accounted for, handled, and ready for customer pick-up.

  • Engaging in safe work practices and encouraging others to do the same.

The Customer Service Associate Sales Floor delivers excellent customer service by listening to customers, using expertise to help customers, and loading merchandise for customers. Overall, most of this associate's time is spent interacting with our customers and ensuring they receive the best possible shopping and project planning experience.

Travel Requirements:
This role does not require regular travel; however, this role may need to travel on occasion to meetings, trainings, or to support neighboring stores.

What We're Looking For

  • Hourly Full Time or Part Time: Generally scheduled 39 to 40 or up to 25 hours per week, respectively; more hours may be required based on the needs of the store.

  • Requires morning, afternoon and evening availability any day of the week.

  • Physical ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties.

  • Minimally must be able to lift 25 pounds without assistance; may lift over 25 pounds with or without assistance.

What You Need To Succeed

Minimum Qualifications

  • 6 months experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
  • 6 months experience using a handheld device (e.g., mobile phone, LRT gun, palm pilot, tablet, iPod) to enter, access, and output information.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certification in trade related to department (e.g., kitchen, plumbing, electrical, lawn and garden).
  • 1 year of retail experience identifying and selling products based on customer needs, including credit cards, installations, add-on sales, and explaining warranties, product features, and benefits.
  • 1 year of retail experience providing customer service, including identifying and resolving customer issues, assisting customers in locating product, greeting customers, answering phones, building relationships with customers, and thanking customers for their business.
  • 1 year of retail merchandising experience, including performing Zone Recovery, stocking, down stocking, facing/fronting product, pricing, maintaining signage, and housekeeping.
  • 1 year of retail experience in related department (e.g., kitchen, plumbing, electrical, lawn and garden).
  • 1 year of experience in a customer service position at a home improvement or hardware retailer in related department (e.g., kitchen, plumbing, electrical, lawn and garden).
  • 1 year of experience working in any department at a Lowe's retail store.
  • 1 year of supervisory experience in any field, including directing, evaluating, and coaching employees.

If the state or local municipality requires a salesperson license for this position, you must either be licensed or pass the requisite licensing exam within sixty (60) days of starting employment in this position.

The Fulfillment Specialist role is to ensure that customers' orders are fulfilled in a timely and satisfactory manner, while being able to deliver an exceptional customer experience. You are responsible for ensuring Customer orders are fulfilled efficiently and accurately. The Fulfillment Specialist contribute to the daily operation of the Fulfillment & Logistics Team, while providing necessary support when needed to the rest of the business. What You'll Do * Subject matter expert on order processing - scrubbing order documents, tracking orders, implementation status as needed, and verifying products ordered per customer's request. * Tracks orders to provide timely and accurate updates to customers and staff. * Communicates to management and team when delays may effect delivery times, inaccurate or depleted inventory, or any issues arise that may effect the customer experience. * Ensures order completion and customer satisfaction. * Stays educated on new and existing product knowledge. * Demonstrates flexibility, by adapting to changes in both priorities and work environment. * Provides back-up support as needed. * Assists with training newer team members. * Maintain professionalism in appearance, attitude and verbal communications. * Ensure work area is clean and fee of debris. * Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management. What You Have * Embrace and demonstrate alignment with Caliva Values – Integrity, Positive Energy, Connectedness, Bias in Action, and Truth Seeking. * High School Diploma or equivalent. * Previous experience in customer fulfillment preferred but not required. * Strong computer skills including proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office, comfortability with various software and databases. * Familiarity with medical cannabis strains, products and effects. * Shows appropriate patience and implements strong problem-solving skills, while taking the initiative to address concerns/issues with team members. * Ability to work in both a team and individual base environment. * Willing to cross-train in other areas as needed. Working Environment This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers and filing cabinets. Must be able to travel to other locations. Job Requirements * Work revolves around objectives, projects and priorities, not hours; Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime as needed. * Must be able to stand, walk, lift, sit, and bend for a majority of their work schedule. * Ability to use computer and calculator for 8 hours or more. * Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. * Must be able to travel to other office locations. * Required to have a valid driver's license with acceptable driving history.
