Officeteam is seeking an International Trade Specialist that can assist a client of ours in the Kansas City, Kansas Area for a 3-6month project. This individual will be responsible for but not limited to: ? In coordination with the Manager, International Trade Compliance, develop a formal process to audit export documentation to verify compliance. ? Audit export documentation, document findings, assist with the implementation of controls to ensure compliance. ? Maintain databases, reports, and documentation to support DFA?s International Trade Compliance Program.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education ? Bachelors Degree in business or related discipline. Necessary Knowledge, Skills and Abilities ? Familiar with U.S. and international import/export regulations, including but not limited to the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), Office of Foreign Assets Control Regulations (OFAC), Foreign Trade Statistics Regulations (FTSR), Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). ? Familiar with technical documents such as contracts, specifications, and supplier compliance requirements and possess the ability to perform critical review of technical documents. ? Familiar with export requirements and documentation of compliance with export requirements. ? Proficient computer skills including all Microsoft Office products, e-mail, network applications, Internet, and research of regulatory compliance material. ? Work well within a team and possess the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers to ensure efficient communication and resolution of issues.
