Job Description: Consult clients in the area of International Trade Compliance and International Logistics.

Determine product classifications (Export Control Classification Number (ECCN) & Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS)) as well as other valuation, origin, and licensing requirements. Research and respond to inquiries on various trade compliance regulations, including Export Administration Regulations (EAR), EU Dual-Use Regulations, Foreign Trade Regulations (FTR), Free Trade Agreement eligibility, Anti-dumping/Countervailing Duty, Quota or other Duty concerns, as well as other Domestic and Foreign Agency requirements. This role may also be required to conduct assessments of exporters’ & importers’ compliance controls, review and prepare customized corporate policy and procedure manuals, conduct compliance assessments and assist in training programs.

Position Highlights: Liaise with domestic and international departmental teams for daily support and managerial oversight of documentation, compliance, data management Make classification determinations and manage associated compliance data. Strength in research and data analysis, capable of extracting and articulate key facts as they relate to regulatory requirements Immediately investigate and implement escalation protocols, expedite resolutions, and report status frequently to customers and INTRAL senior management Accountable for standardizing operations planning and execution Oversee customer communications and coordination Demonstrate a proactive approach to managing a diverse workload in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Exercise sound judgement and model a high degree of personal accountability Display a strong sense of urgency in researching, tracking and correcting compliance and supply chain problems, working directly with clients/vendors to resolve issues in a timely and cost-effective manner Identify and implement process improvement opportunities Direct report to Trade Counsel / Senior management This is a “hands on” role Required Skills: 2-5 years of experience An interest in international compliance, law and/or trade is very important An ability to work closely with a wide variety of clients is necessary Bachelors required, Masters Degree or J.D. a positive Customs Broker License a positive Familiarity with compliance regulatory and technical research HTS and ECCN classification experience preferred Proven ability to work independently and perform highly detailed work Strong team and collaboration skills Strong customer service orientation Knowledge in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word & Excel) Experience in SAP/ERP, Agile, SNAP-R a plus Competitive salary, bonus and benefits.
