International Tax Analyst

Middleby Corporation is seeking a highly skilled and motivated International Tax Analyst to join our tax team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting international tax compliance, planning, and reporting efforts. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with exposure to complex international tax issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review international tax compliance, including Forms 5471, 8858, and 1118.

• Assist with the preparation of the quarterly and annual tax provision for international operations.

• Conduct research and analysis of international tax issues, including transfer pricing, foreign tax credits, and BEPS (Base Erosion and Profit Shifting) initiatives.

• Support international tax planning initiatives and provide guidance on cross-border transactions.

• Monitor changes in international tax legislation and assess the impact on the company.

• Collaborate with external advisors and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely tax filings.

• Assist with tax audits and inquiries from tax authorities.

• Maintain detailed and organized documentation to support tax positions and compliance efforts.

• Assist with various process improvement projects including data automation and document collection

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or MST preferred.

• Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in international tax, preferably with a public accounting firm or multinational corporation.

• Strong understanding of US international tax rules and regulations.

• Experience with tax software and ERP systems (e.g., OneSource, OneStream, HFM).

• Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills.

• Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
