Job Summary: Responsible for managing the International Industrial Combustion (IC) Sales channel. Job reports to the IC Sales Director.

Location: The International Sales Manager will report to our Monroe, WI office but can be based remotely.

Essential Functions:

  • Direct and coordinate activities involving sales of IC products and services with our international representatives.

  • Manage channel including locating and qualifying new reps, regular performance evaluation of reps, determining key needs, and establishing sound partnerships for sales growth and profit.

  • Develop and nurture long-term positive OEM relationships.

  • Support/build quotes for representatives when possible

  • Resolve customer complaints.

  • Determine price structures and discount rates within company guidelines.

  • Maintain and disseminate to management sales activities reports, including quoting and quote cycle time/closure rates by customer, region or territory, etc.

  • Confer or consult with department heads to plan advertising services and to secure information on equipment and customer specifications.

  • Advise representatives on policies and operating procedures to ensure functional effectiveness of business.

  • Represent IC at trade shows.

  • Provide technical and sales support to the representative network.

  • Provide sales, product and application engineering training for reps.

Education: Bachelor's degree required.

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years technical sales experience with 5 years field experience.

  • International sales experience is preferred.

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.

  • Position requires moderate (50%) air travel, domestic and international.

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and SalesForce

Preferred Functions:

  • Possess excellent sales acumen with strong oral and written communication skills.

  • Applicant must be comfortable working remotely and should embrace challenges, have vision and add value to help drive profitable growth for the company.

  • Currently possess or be able to obtain a passport.

Travel Requirements: Position requires moderate (50%) air travel, domestic and international.

Physical Skill and Effort: General mechanical room physical ability is required. Ladders, confined space, etc. may be experienced. Work may require occasional physical effort.

Working Conditions and Hazards:

  • Normal plant, shop, field or office conditions. From time to time, slightly disagreeable features.

  • Normal hazards associated with boiler / steam plant conditions.
