What You'll Be Doing

As an International Sales Assistant, you will be involved in supporting all aspects of growing OXO's international business in areas of sales, marketing and operation. The International Sales Assistant will work with cross functional teams within the organization as well as external partners and customers. The role will be a great entry way to learning the different functions within an organization and to gain exposure to international markets.


International Sales Assistant

Responsibilities:
  • Create presentations

  • Coordinate product introductions, webinars, and samples

  • Support all tasks needed to launch in global market

  • Maintain customer information and price files

  • Generate sales reports

  • Coordinate international tradeshows

  • Constant communication with customers on general inquiries, customer set up, and order processing

  • Work cross functionally with OXO regional offices

  • Track online platforms to monitor brand representation

Requirements for Consideration

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Experience and desire working in sales, marketing, business development or operations(internships will be considered)

  • Proficient with MS Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint

  • Strong communication and organizational skills

  • Demonstrates initiative with minimal supervision

  • Ability to complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner

  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a Full-Time basis

As the Senior Manager, International Sales, you will drive and manage international sales and international strategy for Latin America and Canada that delivers on annual revenue goals via brand right partners. Own and manage the relationship between company, distributor and internal cross-functional teams to deliver best in market and category service to our customers. Be the eyes, ears, and voice of OXO in these regions. What you'll be doing * Create and drive expansion plan for Canada and Latin America regions. * Define key markets and identify best in class distributor partners. * Compile competitive analysis per market on brand, product, positioning and messaging. * Analyze and select distributors that meets short and long-term brand, revenue and strategic goals. * Onboard distributors and establish objectives appropriate for each market. Own seasonal review process to ensure continual alignment. * Work closely with distributor on creating and executing launch plans and follow through on market/channel/retail developments per agreed to distribution plan. * Accountable for regional profitability and sales growth. Create annual sales plan and budget with quarterly updates. * Provide regular business development and sales results with SVP Global Sales and Leadership Team. * Work closely with OXO VP Sales for cross border retailers in Mexico and Canada (BBB, Costco, Amazon) to align GTM strategy and pricing. * Maintain library of records for all interactions with each market and distributor. * Manage all Canada and Latin America distributor relationships. Be point of contact to OXO. * Drive cross-functional alignment to implement and execute international activities. * Maintain Distributor Manual, SOP's for internal and external partners. * Present and drive Sales Summit and GTM activities for Canada and Latin America partners. * Implement international milestones in GTM process to provide timely and accurate communication of market input and global expansion plans. * Advocate regional needs to Product Engine and likewise communicate back to markets product philosophy and development. * Contribute to international merchandising activities (assortment planning, pricing, SMU's, etc) with Product teams for your regions. * Collaborate with Marketing to develop regional and/or market specific collateral, tool kits, etc. for your regions. * Be the bridge between OXO and distributor for direct-to-consumer and all social marketing efforts. * Manage, analyze and approve marketing contributions. * Work with Helen of Troy Legal to define and negotiate Distributor Agreement/Contracts and Terms and Conditions. * Educate cross-functional teams international business culture and norms. * Provide LT and stake holders quarterly updates on regional results and business developments. * Ensure high quality account management via Sales, Product, Marketing and Operations personnel. * Contribute to Global Sales Operations and Planning processes. * Lead discussions, exploration and coordination of market specific delivery import compliance with Operations, Product and Marketing. * Provide Monthly Dollar and Unit forecasting and analysis for demand planning and S&OP process. * Support of system upgrades and continuous process improvement. * Inform Ops team of market and sales channel needs, challenges, and opportunities. * Ownership of distributor management metrics and satisfaction. What are the requirements for consideration? * Bachelors Degree or equivalent. * 5+ Years international business development and/or distributor management, product, or sales. * 10+ years in related industry in sales or operations: outdoor, sporting goods or natural foods. * Prior position as International Sales Director, Sales Manager, or Business Development. * Extensive use of MS office. * Understanding of margin, P&L, and business topics needed to work in international sales * Experience in negotiation and contracts. * Proven ability to effectively manage to revenue plans. * Effective communication with cross functional teams. * Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
