Position Number: 127700 Position Title (Classification Title): Coordinator II Working Title: International Recruitment Specialist Job Summary:
Individual will represent the University of West Florida and can fully develop relationships with international recruitment agents, communicate directly with student leads, evaluate international credentials, and make admission decisions in order to create a seamless and expedient process for prospective international students and international recruitment partners. Some of the duties include: Educational consultant/agent development, contract generation, training, and relationship building; development of international student recruitment plan; international student recruitment and lead generation; effectively communicates with internal and external stakeholders which are instrumental in the recruitment process; admission funnel maintenance and admission processes, including transcript credential evaluations for recruited students; attendance at recruitment-based conferences and international recruitment fairs abroad and virtually; and data analysis and reporting Department International Affairs FLSA:
Exempt Minimum Qualifications: Serve on campus committees, assist with departmental or divisional functions as needed. Position Qualifications:
Masters degree in an appropriate area of specialization; or a bachelors degree in an appropriate area of specialization and two years of appropriate experience. This position requires the ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, faculty, and international partners. Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in an appropriate area of specialization and one year of experience; or a bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization and three years of experience working in international higher education.
Experience working as a Designated School Officer or Assistant Responsible Officer for an institution of higher education. Familiarity with federal immigration regulations 8 CFR 214 and 22 CFR Part 62. Familiarity with Banner and Banner integrated software applications.
Proficiency in managing web and social media content. Ability to speak and write fluently in another language: Arabic, Mandarin, Spanish, and/or Portuguese languages are preferred. Essential Functions / Job Duties:
