International Logistics Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented International Logistics Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, coordination, and execution of international orders and shipments, ensuring they arrive at their destination on time.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate all aspects of order management for electric vehicles and aftermarket parts for international customers (via SalesForce). Gather all necessary up-front information to ensure smooth order ingest all the way to export shipment, customs clearance, and freight forwarding.

• Manage and track end-to-end international orders and shipments through the entire operations and logistics process: coordinate with sales, scheduling, manufacturing, procurement, and shipping teams to ensure timely delivery.

• Work directly with our customer's freight forwarders to ensure timely pickup/shipment of vehicles (e.g. timing of manufacturing plan with schedule containers to arrive for loading, etc).

• Create process and be the liaison across various functions to ensure orders bound for international destinations are built, coordinated, in a timely fashion.

• Obtain quotes for new destinations and negotiate rates and contracts with international carriers (air, ocean, land).

• Prepare, maintain, and ensure accurate shipping documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and supplemental information needed to ship internationally.

• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, customs officials, and freight forwarders. Identify and resolve any issues that may arise during the shipping process.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in international logistics or a related field.

• Demonstrated history of working and detailed understanding international trade regulations and customs procedures (incoterms, customs clearance, HTS/HTC, ECCN, etc).

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

• Ability to multi-task, prioritize effectively, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

• A strong analytical mind, problem-solving, organizational skills.

• Experience with order management and logistics software (e.g., GTM, TMS, WMS, ERP, SalesForce) a plus.

• Fluency in a second language (Spanish, Mandarin, etc.) a plus.
