  • Assist other employees with diverse projects

  • Greet and instruct visitors

  • Handle telephone calls

  • Tend to word processing, filing, and faxing duties


  • Accomplished computer skills is a must. This includes word processing, spreadsheets and presentation software, as well as databases and customer database systems

  • Familiarity with using the internet for research tasks

  • Excellent written, verbal and social communication skills

  • Logistics experience preferred

  • Deep understanding of export customer service

  • Knowledge of export - import documents

  • Import customer service experience

  • Logistics distribution experience highly desired

  • At least 1 year of Administrative Assistant experience preferred .

The Executive Administrative Assistant will be responsible for day-to-day administration working directly with a R1 RCM (R1) Executive. He/she will be responsible for scheduling activities and creating calendar events. In addition, the assistant will make travel arrangements and support ad hoc requests. This may include submitting expenses, documenting meeting notes and supporting logistics for corporate meetings. Additionally, the Executive Assistant will oversee and assist with liaison and communication between the Executive and internal and external office engagements. The position is based in Chicago. Your day to day role will include: * Provide day-to-day administrative support for the Executive. * Manage, plan and organize daily calendar activities. * Book and manage all travel arrangements. * Manage day-to-day correspondences internally and externally, including responding to all local and international mail. * Assist in technical matters and courier correspondence. * Arrange for meetings and conferences, including preparing agendas and minutes, and making the necessary business travel arrangements. * Manage membership dues to various organizations, subscriptions, distributions and circulation lists. * Prepare, update and distribute itineraries, letters, memos and meeting minutes and continually keep for a record for future events and meetings. * Serve as liaison with department managers to ensure a manageable flow of work and communication. * Prepare a variety of high quality memos, letters, and other required documents. * Building maintenance ticket submission * Order supplies for various floors throughout * Covering front desk to assist visitors, receiving order, etc. * Responsible for new hire onboarding You Have: * High school degree is required. * Minimum of three years of administrative experience. * Must have excellent planning, time management, and organizational skills. * Excellent verbal and written business communication skills. * Ability to succeed in an ever-changing and fast-paced environment. * Ability to effectively manage multiple, competing priorities under a given timeline. * Ability to show considerable discretion regarding sensitive and/or confidential information. * Strong proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint. It would be great if you also have: * Advanced skills in Microsoft Office desirable.
