Position Summary:

PositionSummary:
Responsible for helping create all of the necessary shippingdocumentation for international consolidations that occur at our Good Hope Roadfacility on a daily basis. This individual will must be able to work within SAPto create the necessary export documentation. They will also assist in theinput of foreign trade export data, including commodity codes, origination ofmaterials and NAFTA information. They will also be responsible to follow-up onany shipping issues with appropriate departments such as tracking requests,invoicing problems claims processing. They also will communicate and coordinateinternational shipments with Customer Service and International consolidationon a regular basis.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Create required international documentation through SAP and other applications for daily international consolidations.

  • Follow up and resolve any shipping documentation issues with international operations.

  • Prepare all paperwork for daily consol including Latin America Customers.

  • Prepare all necessary documentation to ensure uninterrupted transportation of products

  • Communicate with Freight Forwarders, Carriers and Brokers for the Transportation of goods.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • High School diploma or GED.

  • Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel and the ability to search the Internet.

  • Must have good communication skills, ability to maintain accurate, detailed data and documents.

  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment

  • Ability to be adaptable and achieve results even in challenging situations

  • Ability to work on the Distribution Floor when needed.

Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Associates degree in related field

  • Minimum 1 year experience in the creation of shipping documentation/paperwork and some knowledge of export/import procedures.

  • Experience with governmental and carrier automated systems

  • Knowledge of export rules and regulations, Inco terms and International documentation

  • Ability to work within various modules of SAP and be proficient in pulling data out of SAP.

VIEW JOBS 10/11/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-01-09T00:00 The International Tax Manager is a key role within Rockwell Automation's Corporate Tax department based upon the high degree of interaction with and focus on Rockwell's approximately 90 non-U.S. legal entities as well as its international business operations. These interactions provide the International Tax Manager with an opportunity to develop a strong understanding of Rockwell's non-U.S. businesses by leveraging experience in both U.S. International and local country tax matters. The successful individual will engage in significant interactions with Corporate Finance and Business Unit colleagues while working closely with and reporting to the International Tax Director. The primary duties of the International Tax Manager will be focused on tax provision and compliance reporting initiatives as well as provide support in other areas related to international tax. The successful individual will work closely with the International Tax Director on provision and compliance projects related to U.S. International Tax Reform leveraging both current technology and process while also being actively engaged in driving process improvement and automation. On a secondary basis, the International Tax Manager will provide support to other members of the International Tax team on areas such as those related to tax planning, transfer pricing and audit support on an as needed basis. This position will interact heavily with Rockwell's regional finance team, thus providing an opportunity to develop strong relationships with non-U.S. colleagues. The International Tax Manager will also collaborate with the Accounting, Treasury and Legal teams as well as outside consultants on common projects and initiatives that benefit the Company. In order to be effective in this role, the successful individual will need to have strong analytical skills, significant experience in tax provision reporting and compliance matters, an ability to work independently with a high degree of initiative in a multi-task environment, communicate effectively with U.S and non-U.S. colleagues and be a motivated self-starter that can work with the drive to achieve results that benefit the company. The individual also must have a process improvement mindset and be able to not only understand the current processes and technology but determine how they can be improved and automated to increase the efficiency of the team. Through these experiences, the International Tax Manager will be well positioned for future growth and development. Essential Functions: * Manage the international tax compliance and provision reporting process with support from the International Tax Director and other members of the International Tax team. * Enable Corporate Tax to be an effective business partner by networking with the regional finance teams and business contacts along with the International Tax Director and other International Tax team members. * Assist in supporting the department's efforts to respond to U.S. international tax and non-U.S. audits. * Proactively monitor current and proposed tax law changes to determine global impact to the organization. * Identifying tax issues in foreign business operations regarding legal structure, business lines and cross-border transactions. * Communicate effectively in both verbal and written form with U.S. and Non-U.S. Corporate Finance colleagues. * Analyze planning aspects related to the global mobility of U.S. and non-U.S. employees. * Support tax planning and transfer pricing projects on an as needed basis.
