We are seeking a solution-oriented client development professional who is curious to learn more about global consumer markets and emerging consumer trends and skilled in consultative sales.

The IBDE will be responsible for building fruitful commercial relationships with new clients by matching their strategic business challenges with the impressive solutions offered by our web-based global strategic intelligence platform and our custom research solutions (consulting tailor-made services).

  • You will sell to clients within the NOLA region (North of Latin America which includes Mexico and the Caribbean territories) as well as select clients within North America (US and Canada).
  • You will manage the entire new client development process from initial daily proactive outreach via cold calls and email campaigns, to product demonstrations, negotiation and contract review.
  • You will expand the number of new clients that are interested in our global research by supporting ad hoc projects and building the value proposition for long-term relationship via annual subscriptions to our web-based research platform.
  • You will not only achieve, but take personal accountability to exceed sales targets, looking to develop creative ways of recommending Euromonitors services to new clients in new territories. Your ability to close deals by building consensus while driving urgency with clear next steps will be vital to your success in this role.

Required Skills

Skills/Proficiencies required:

  • Bachelors degree and proven excellence in a consultative sales role with at least 2 years experience
  • Self-motivated and able to thrive in a results-driven environment measured through KPIs, sales goals and attitude
  • Highly organized with excellent time management, managing numerous contacts including scheduling, follow up, and establishing frequent points of interaction.
  • Globally minded with a passion for consumer markets/trends and strategic planning
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills. Comfort interacting with senior executives.
  • Intellectually curious, proactive, strongly ethical, team player
  • Fluent in English and Spanish
