We are looking for a talented International Brand Manager Rare Disease to join our Global Marketing teams located in Paris.

In General, the International Brand Manager role will be :

The International Brand Manager Rare Disease will define the global strategy of some of the Rare Disease portfolio (Xermelo and Amversio) and will support affiliates and partners with its local implementation. She/he will cross-functionally define the most adapted tactical plan and support countries with its local adaptation. This cross-functional collaboration includes, but is not restricted to, local market stakeholders and global regulatory, PV/medical, quality and HQ and local commercial teams. Based on future acquisitions or priorities of the company, the product portfolio scope may be revised.

As International Brand Manager, some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Become the central point of contact of HQ and Affiliates for dedicated Rare Disease products

  • Support of local teams with the development of robust strategic plans and adapted tools.

  • Definition of the global marketing strategy for dedicated Rare Disease product, aiming at developing local commercial performance:

  • Development of a robust global marketing vision, definition of the most impactful strategies and implementation of actionable resources and tactics for the countries.

  • Identification of key unmet needs and opportunities that could reinforce differentiation and brand awareness.

  • Coordination and development of innovative tools, promotional materials our global initiatives (P2P, symposia, …) to best support affiliates and partners, and taking into consideration the most adapted channels to reach the broadest audience, working in collaboration with SERB regulatory, PV/Medical, local compliance and HQ and local commercial teams.

  • Ensure effective and impactful presence at international congresses, develop specific communication plans and involve affiliates. Identify potential international congresses of interest.

  • Drive insights collection from markets, if needed set-up ad-hoc market researches to support strategic vision.

  • Constant publications monitoring and development of a scientific communication plan throughout the year.

  • Mapping of key stakeholders and reinforcement of existing KOL network for the main products in collaboration with medical teams. Propose an annual engagement plan.

  • Organize and lead international marketing/commercial advisory boards, when applicable.

  • Identify all business opportunities of interest, to grow and develop the brands: new segments, new territories, new indications, …

  • Define and, permanently and accurately, track functional budget of franchise. Propose budget reallocations to manager.

  • Défine and present annual strategic plan and budget to countries.

  • Co-create with the HQ medical team effective training programs for affiliates and partners - ensure training modules are kept up-to-date.

  • Frequent reporting to Rare/Oncology Lead

Technical skills

Successful experience in pharmaceutical marketing (3-5 years), ideally in Rare Disease or Oncology.

Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical environment (compliance, regulations and processes), ethical approach to business.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Creative, open to new ideas and feedback, positive mindset.

Agile and adaptable, pro-active, analytical. Good understanding of data and numbers, ability to connect multiple sources of information.

Skilled at planning, project management and organizational relations.

Achieve results through people.

Able to work in a cross-functional environment.

Soft skills

Ability to manage multiple tasks, high degree of flexibility and ability to prioritize.

Robust communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to present its ideas and influence team members and peers.

Open to feedback, able to self-challenge and reconsider approaches.

Curious, able to think outside of the box.

Highly motivated, with a hands-on attitude, agile, with an eagerness to support its teammates.

Education and experiences

Scientific & Marketing background with marketing and/or previous sales position.

Fluent English (written and oral).

Computer savvy, a digital marketing or multichannel engagement experience is preferable

Location

Based in Paris - Ligne 1, George V

Home Office 2 days per week

Business trips expected
