Position Title: Internal Sales Rep

Position Reports to: Customer Service Manager

Position Summary:
Under general supervision, coordinates and schedules loads between customers and West Side drivers; maintains load information on computer system; communicates load schedules with Planners and Fleet Managers; and strives to maintain satisfied customers while looking out for the best interest of the company.

Essential Functions:
1.Coordinates and schedules loads between customers and West Side drivers; tenders loads from customers by means of communication; makes delivery appointments on loads when possible; enters tendered load information into computer tracking system; and updates load information as necessary.
2.Communicates and coordinates load information to planners and/or Fleet Managers as necessary; informs customers on changes affecting their freight; monitors customer satisfaction comments and actions; and works with Sales Department to insure customers' expectations are being met and/or exceeded.
3.Determines and maintains load capacity daily and works with Planners and computer data to monitor booked loads.
4.Manages load-planning responsibilities when necessary; and relays messages concerning load planning over the computer system when needed.
5.Performs other related duties as requested.

Necessary Qualifications:
One year experience in Customer Service area or related field.

Physical Qualifications:
Sitting, talking on the phone and entering data into computer for extended periods of time.

This includes managing local employees communications, digital channels, media relations, issues preparedness and response activities, company events and community outreach. * Manages internal communications channels that drive employee engagement, ensuring that employees are well-informed about the company's strategic direction, company news and events, and invested in the company's vision and values. * Responsible for identifying and creating the appropriate channels across the St Joseph site, including print and digital communications,leadership communications and site events. As a digital wizard, supports U.S. wide Animal Health communication channels. * Manages external stakeholder communications, including local media and key organizations. Devises and recommends appropriate course of action to the Site Leadership Team. * Serve as in-house "reporter", cultivating a network of internal contacts to gather news and write powerful stories for U.S. wide Animal Health communication channels. * Write updates from local senior management, using strong writing ability to translate complex subject matter into engaging prose. * In conjunction with the St. Joseph Operations Training and HR teams, develops and delivers communication and announcements of upcoming training and other HR/site related initiatives. * Manages local community outreach to key external stakeholders, charitable contributions/requests and employee volunteer activities, as part of the U.S. BI Animal Health CSR program. * Participates as a key member of the local incident management team (IMT) and works in close coordination with the Rapid Response Team/Duluth Communications to prepare or respond to issues. * Helps to minimize business interruptions and protects the reputation of the company and its assets by identifying and planning for issues through application of the US issues process. * Significant exposure to and dialogue with all levels of employees to include site leadership team and US/global communications/marketing leadership. * Works directly with US communications and public relations, BioBU communications professionals, local, state and US government officials, and media. Requirements: * Requires a four (4) year degree in PR, Communications, journalism or closely related field from an accredited institution, and a minimum of five (5) years relevant experience in healthcare/pharmaceutical Public Relations/Communications; proven ability to align communications with Company strategy and organizational style * Experience cultivating and building relationship with the media * Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must have excellent planning, organizing and implementation skills. Results oriented, cooperative and strategic thinker. * Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office products including advanced Project, Excel, Power Point and Word functions. Experience with any publishing and/or CMS is a plus. * Excellent project management and priority-setting skills.
