Position Title: Internal Recruiter (Internal Business Development)

What we need:

The Internal Recruiter at Cetera Financial Group (CFG) will support the Business Development process by generating leads and driving recruitment of Financial Advisors into CFG's network of Broker Dealers. This is a pivotal role responsible for presenting and representing CFG as the wealth management firm of choice for independent, growth-oriented Financial Advisors.

Internal Recruiters will work to generate leads and collaborate directly with External Recruiters to track and manage the pipeline, create and maintain sales enablement materials, and help close recruitment of prospective advisors.

What you will do:

  • Identify prospective advisors through lead generation databases, initial sales calls, and inbound inquiries made to CFG

  • Serve as a first point of contact with prospective advisors, articulate and sell our business model and the benefits of affiliating with CFG

  • Use your discretion in evaluating an advisor's fit for CFG through knowledge of their book of business, your initial sales calls with the advisor, and publicly available information

  • Assign leads to External Recruiters and to CFG Broker Dealer according to business rules and understanding of the advisor's business

  • Support External Recruiters by setting appointments, overseeing paperwork, maintaining candidate profiles, and organizing home-office visits

  • Track advisor progression through the Business Development pipeline using tools including but not limited to Salesforce and MS Excel

  • Develop and maintain creative and competitive sales enablement materials to inform advisors of the CFG story and brand

  • Meet with advisors during home-office visits and phone-based meetings to gather information about a candidate's business and background

  • Partner closely with cross-functional teams to support ongoing solution development and execution

What you need to have:

  • Effective communication and presentation techniques

  • Working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce, and Outlook

  • Understanding of sales techniques

  • Demonstrated ability to organize, plan, and prioritize a variety of assignments

Desired Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Economics, or related field of study

  • 1-3 years related work experience within financial services

  • 1 years of experience within a sales environment

Reporting to the Supervisor of Internal Sales, the role will provide support for a designated territory working in partnership with an external Advisory Consultant collaborating to provide the highest quality service and support for financial advisors that are committed to the fee-based advisory business model. The primary objective of the position is to drive the growth of assets under management and net new assets on Cetera's advisory platforms. What you will do: * Creating sales opportunities with top producers by making outbound calls daily as well as taking daily inbound calls * Providing sales ideas, handling product questions, and communicating product information to advisors * Providing quality customer service to internal and external customers by instilling value-added service in the sales process. * Providing product information and operational procedures to the advisors to ensure the accuracy of the sales process. * Answering calls efficiently to meet corporate metrics and service level agreements. * Responsible for relationship building and selling by phone in an effort to increase sales and retain assets. * Tracking sales assets (daily/monthly/ quarterly) and recording results. * Supporting external wholesaler's field sales efforts. * Other duties as assigned.
