Your Opportunity

As an Internal Practice Auditor you will be part of the Practice Services functional support team (FST). Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will perform senior professional audit work as a key component of the corporate governance structure within the Energy & Resources BOU.

You can be based in or close to any major center in Canada or the US.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Working with the Quality Manager and Energy & Resources BOU Discipline Leaders, plan and conduct internal practice audits as required by our certifications, including project field audits;

  • Perform independent review of other internal practice audit reports to ensure quality and consistency;

  • Analyze and report on internal key performance indicators and customer feedback results;

  • Based on the results of the audits, issue improvement plans (iPlans) for corrective action;

  • Conduct training on the requirements of the IMS, including integration training with recent acquisitions;

  • Compose various reports, which include office-specific audit reports and quarterly IMS reports distributed to leadership

  • Conduct second party contractor audits as required;

  • Participate in audits conducted by the ISO registrars.

Your Capabilities and Credentials

  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills;

  • Ability to exercise influence through communication, negotiation and relationship building rather than through formal authority structures;

  • Detail-oriented and organized; able to multitask and adjust to changing priorities;

  • Ability to perform duties and responsibilities and complete tasks with limited supervision;

  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite of products;

  • Strong presentation skills in small or large group environments, with proficiency in presentation support tools (e.g., PowerPoint)

  • French or Spanish language skills would be considered an asset.

  • Must be willing to travel in Canada and the US up to 50% of the time.

  • Must have a valid passport and good driving record.

Education and Experience

Minimum of 6-8 years of experience with the following: Working in a consulting firm environment; Auditing; ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems, ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management Systems, and ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems; Project management.

Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.

This role is responsible to drive service sales process in collaboration with the Service Sales Manager and/or Service Manager. Generate service sales opportunities and secure profitable sales within the designated area(s). Focus on installed base penetration (IB) and sell the entire Service product portfolio in collaboration with other ABB service units. Build long term customer relationships and ensure immediate response to specific customer needs and issues. 2018-12-07 Senior professionals ( > 5 years of work experience) Tasks: Typical duties/responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following: * In collaboration with the Service Sales Manager and/or Service Manager implements Service sales strategy. Penetrates IB, promotes various upgrade, retrofit and value add solutions to the benefit of the customer and ABB. Understands the channel strategy and the establishment of related prices and prepares sales plans, reviews them and proposes recovery plan(s) when needed. * Utilizes ServIS to understand the existing installed base (IB) and identifies and develops sales opportunities for Service products and solutions to penetrate the existing IB/new IBs in the market. Focuses on the entire Service portfolio to secure profit for assigned Business Units/Product Groups. * Generates Service sales leads and develops new market opportunities by utilizing market trend information, identifying and exploring potential new service portfolios. Takes a One ABB approach to leverage other colleagues' portfolios. * Establishes long term customer relationships by understanding customer requirements and applicable regulations and demonstrating in-depth technical service product/solutions knowledge to promote Life Cycle Management (LCM). Registers customer feedback and ensures customer satisfaction throughout the sales process. * Sells entire service product portfolio to expand ABB footprint in the designated area(s). Charts out and monitors sales proposals, tenders and follows up proposal statistics. Prepares ABB's Service offerings based on customer need and in coordination with the local Service Sales Manager and/or Service Manager. Communicates contract details in accordance with ABB offering and strategy. Manages administrative sales processes. Responsibility includes sales strategy. * Acts as a marketer/salesperson of ABB's service products and solutions during marketing activities (trade fairs, exhibitions, conferences, customer meetings).
