Virtual schools are new models in public education.

They look both backward to what we know works well in educating children, and forward to see how technology can help us implement these strategies with children. Virtual school teachers are part of a pioneering effort. Our teachers and leaders, therefore, need to share the school's pioneering mission and approach.

This position is based on current enrollment needs and is contingent upon sustaining appropriate staffing to student ratio. HOURS AND SALARY INFORMATION: Full time position work Monday-Friday from 8:30am-4:00pm You are not allowed to have another job during contracted hours.

Requirements / Qualifications

EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS: • Permanent California residency • Strong organizational skills • Detail oriented • Able to balance and complete multiple projects. • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook • Strong interpersonal and communication skills • Self-directed but comfortable working as part of a team • Proficient with student record processes • Available to work during the summer to prepare for following school year • Minimum of 2 years of experience working with CAVA. REQUIRED CREDENTIAL/CERTIFICATION: (All applicants MUST have the following at the time of applying) Must hold a valid Clear California teaching credential. California English Learner Authorization
