HOURS AND SALARY INFORMATION:

Requirements: • Must be a current school psychologist with the California Schools • Reside in the state of California • Master's degree Job Duties: • Conducts psycho-educational assessments or file reviews in accordance with District, State, and Federal requirements virtually or in-person • Utilizes assessment tools with a variety of techniques that are functional and based on the reason for referral. (e.g., standardized, curriculum-based, portfolio, and authentic assessments in accordance with child find laws) • Conducts assessments that address behavioral interventions, assists teachers in designing behavior plans including functional behavior assessments, and manifestation determinations • Completes all assessments within the mandated IDEA timelines • Presents a comprehensive report about assessment results at the subsequent Individualized Educational Program (IEP) team meeting • Makes recommendations to the IEP team based on the findings of each assessment and specific to the identified disability as it relates to the core curriculum and the District's Content and Performance Standards • FT Summer School Psychologist Counsels' students identified as needing ERMHS per their IEP. • Projects related to planning for the upcoming ALL Sped Professional Development and the new SY. • Other duties as assigned *Please note that everything herein is subject to change
