April/May Monthly Password To Apply The ELD Specialist will provide instruction and intervention to students in our English Learner program as well as collaborate with homeroom teachers to provide effective supports to students. HOURS AND SALARY INFORMATION: Full time:

Monday-Friday from 8:30am-4:00pm. Salary: Per diem rate of pay using the 23-24 school year salary We do participate in CalSTRS. Please contact your CalSTRS counselor about how employment with iQ Academy, Los Angeles may affect your personal STRS account.

Requirements / Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS/EXPERIENCE: • Reside in the state of California • Bachelor's degree • Strong content and subject-matter knowledge • Ability to support and guide adults, as well as students • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Organization and time-management skills • Excellent writing and grammar skills • Flexible schedule • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and Outlook, PowerPoint and experience using them in a professional capacity • Self-directed but comfortable working as part of a team • Attend in-person training as scheduled • Current IQLA Teacher • Knowledgeable in English Language Development (ELD) legal matters regarding ELD status and instructional practices REQUIRED CREDENTIAL/CERTIFICATION: (All applicants MUST have the following at the time of applying) • Permanent California Residency • Must hold a valid California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential • California English Learner Authorization
