Job Purpose:

The Systems Administrator must have a deep and broad knowledge of computer software, hardware and networks. They will be responsible for designing, organizing, modifying, and supporting our company's computer systems. They will provide excellent customer service at every opportunity and ensure our technology infrastructure suns smoothly and efficiently.

Job Responsibilities:
1.Install and configure software and hardware
2.Manage network servers and technology tools
3.Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements
4.Troubleshoot issues and outages
5.Ensure security through access controls, backups and firewalls
6.Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies
7.Consistent documentation of all tickets and tasks
8.Provide escalation support for Service Desk team
9.Setup and manage user permissions in all systems
10. Unrelenting commitment to provide excellent customer service at all times.
11. Attend all BSA training (at least annual) offered through the bank. More frequent and/or specific training may be required, depending on job responsibilities. Perform job responsibilities to ensure the bank's compliance with BSA/AML policies and procedures, which include detecting potential suspicious activity and reporting such activity to the BSA Officer and may include gathering and entering data into systems for monitoring and reporting.

Note: Incumbent may be asked to perform other non-essential duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications:

Education 4-year degree or equivalent experience preferred

Experience Proven experience as a Systems Administrator, Network Administrator or similar role.

The sysadmin will serve as a technical resource in Windows administration and monitoring LOCATION: Nashville, TN FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB: * Administers, installs, configures, and maintains operating systems and related software to ensure stable performance of the computing environment. Evaluates system specifications, input/output processes and working parameters for hardware/software compatibilities. * Recognizes and troubleshoots operating problems with server hardware and application software. * Diagnosis hardware and software problems and recommends solutions and performs necessary system repairs * Researches, analyzes and recommends backup/security strategies as required. * Performs installations of hardware, software, and operating systems upgrades, changes and configurations. * Regular attendance. * Other duties as assigned. * Supports our BMI Core Values and cultivates a culture of diversity and inclusion. POSITION QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS * Bachelor's Degree or related work experience required * Minimum 1 year of experience in a Windows Systems Administrator role * One year of system administration with Windows Server 2003, 2008, and 2012 operating systems. * Experience in Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, WINS, and Group Policy * Experience in maintaining server and storage environments including security patches, firmware upgrades, hot fixes, service packs, intermediate versions / full version upgrades * Experience with automated monitoring systems and technologies, with practical knowledge of MS SCOM/SCCM * Previous work with Microsoft Clustering technology – Windows 2003, 2008, and 2012 platforms. * Experience in server and desktop virtualization platforms such as VMWare, Hyper-V, Citrix XenApp Server and XenDesktop preferred. * Previous work with Microsoft Exchange. * Experience scripting experience with Powershell is preferred * Strong communication skills, analytical ability, judgment and the ability to work effectively with other systems technical staff, internal business customers, and external consultants and vendors.
