Responsibilities of the Family Medicine Physician:
Examine and treat patients with wide range of medical conditions
Review patient history, perform exams, diagnose and treat patients
Educate patient on disease prevention
Prepare medical records and communicate with team
Make specialist referrals as needed
Requirements of the Family Medicine Physician:
DO or MD from accredited medical school
Must have California license and DEA
Competence in all facets of family medicine
Strong focus on clinical excellence
Must be Board Eligible or Board Certified

VIEW JOBS 11/16/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-02-14T00:00 SUPPLEMENTAL QUESTIONNAIRE AND TYPING CERTIFICATE ARE REQUIRED AT THE TIME OF APPLICATION The purpose of this position is to provide a variety of complex administrative and office support tasks. This is accomplished by tracking, recording and reporting information, preparing documents and correspondence, coordinating schedules and meetings, maintaining records, providing payroll, supply and materials support, and completing related administrative duties. Essential Functions Provides departmental support by preparing, proofreading, editing, revising and formatting, distributing correspondence and documents. Generates standard responses verbally, in writing, or electronically. Prepares reports by entering, tracking, recording, and reporting data into automated database system. Keeps and tracks status reports on information and records as needed. Utilizes application programs to chart and display recorded information for inclusion in reports. Coordinates and maintains departmental records by developing and monitoring methods to ensure efficient filing, storage, and retrieval of records, and ensuring confidentiality of relevant records. Coordinates travel plans, special events and meetings by making appropriate reservations, ordering supplies, and completing check requests and/or expense reports. Prepares information, meeting packets, agendas, etc. Attend various meetings taking minutes or notes; distributes meeting materials, etc. Prepares payroll by entering timesheet data, and sending appropriate documentation to Payroll department. Other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Any combination of experience and education that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be: Education: High School diploma or equivalent. Experience: One year of general office or administrative support. TYPING REQUIREMENT Applicants must have the ability to type accurately at a net rate of 50 words per minute. At time of application, must submit typing certificate, less than two (2) years old (dated between November 15, 2016 and November 29, 2018), and MUST include: (1) A statement that it was a 5-minute timed test; (2) Total gross words per minute and number of errors; (3) Date the typing test was administered; and (4) Name of instructor or certifying official administering the test. Current employees in classifications with a typing requirement that is at or above the required net rate of 50 words per minute, do not need to submit typing certificates.
