Brigham and Women's Primary Care is currently seeking board certified or board eligible Physicians for part-time and full-time Float Pool Positions. This requires working at various Brigham Primary Care locations in the Greater Boston area. This Float Physician will act as an "internal locums" provider allowing for continuity of high-quality patient care. Our clinics operate within a supportive, team-based model centered around the patient. As NCQA-certified level 3 patient-centered medical home practices, we pride ourselves on delivering excellence in primary care.

At Brigham and Women's Primary Care, you'll collaborate with a team of esteemed clinicians and partner with world-class specialists from Brigham and Women's Hospital. Our flexible scheduling options offer both part-time and full-time (8 sessions) weekly schedules. This position requires flexibility and adaptability, and a commitment of serving a diverse patient community.

For this float position the practice locations extend from the Longwood Medical Area west to Newton corner and south to Foxborough. This position could range from half to full time and would not include building a panel. This position would provide primary and urgent care coverage for absent providers as well as providing additional clinical coverage as the need arises. This includes managing the EMR "in-basket" for providers out on leave and for any tests ordered.

As a Brigham and Women's Primary Care Physician, you'll experience a unique value-based compensation plan and comprehensive benefits package covering health, dental, time off, CME allowances, and robust retirement plan. This opportunity offers:

  • Regular weekday schedule Part time (4 sessions) to Full-time (8 sessions)

  • No regular panel responsibility

  • Weekday outpatient clinic only. No weekends. No inpatient.

  • Malpractice provided by CRICO Harvard Medical School's medical malpractice organization.

Qualifications:

  • Medical Doctor (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.).

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible Internal Medicine Physician

  • Willing to Travel to Multiple Practice Locations.

  • Current, unrestricted license to practice medicine in Massachusetts and MCSR and DEA.

  • Excellent communication skills and time management

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in outpatient primary care settings

  • Experience in Urgent Care settings

  • Bilingual proficiency (Spanish)
