There are many different areas within IT that you could work in, including IT Application Services, IT Business Operations, IT Product Management, IT Infrastructure and Security and IT Architecture. Relevant Majors:

  • Computer Science

  • Cyber Security

  • Information Technology

  • Information Systems

  • Software Engineering

Must have at least 1 completed semester of College

  • Currently enrolled in Bachelors or Master's degree program and will have at least 1 semester left after internship

  • Must be pursuing a degree relevant to the role.

  • Must be able to demonstrate relevant skills.

  • Basic understanding of WWT's services and solutions

  • Basic knowledge in one or more of the following: information technology, cyber security, software development, information systems.

  • Strong written & verbal communication skills

  • Strong organizational, problem solving & analytical skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Strong independent judgment and leadership skills

  • Ability to collaborate well with others

  • Must provide reliable transportation & housing

This includes standard design of electrical systems, assisting lead engineers with various project duties, and other duties as assigned. Opportunities as an Electrical Intern exist in multiple market segments and locations. Specific assignments and project work vary depending on the market segments and locations. Please see below for information on each market: Substation Design of high voltage (13,000 to 500,000 volt) electrical substations. Areas of design include substation layout, power system analysis and control/ relay systems for a variety of clients across the country. * Assist with tasks that may include filing, scanning, data entry, documentation, Power Point presentation. * Assist with responses to general questions. * Participate in continuous improvement efforts by collecting and analyzing data. * Present solutions to concerns. * Research solutions to project concerns; analyze and recommend solutions to problems. * Assist with ad hoc projects as assigned by managers. * All other duties as assigned.
