We are looking for an Internal Experience Design Lead who will lead creative strategy and execution for IS&S-wide employee facing initiatives, including Internal Communication, Learning and Development, and People. This role is for a visual designer who is passionate about working collaboratively and cross-functionally with partners to translate business objectives into simple and compelling visual narratives through presentations, learning materials, and more. This role requires an expert grasp of how storytelling architecture is applied within presentations, an understanding of information design, and a solid understanding of Apple brand.
7-10+ years of professional experience in a design related or creative role
Highly skilled in Apple Keynote, and skilled in Adobe Creative Suite, especially photoshop and Illustrator, or something similar
Solid appreciation and understanding of Apple's tone, voice and aesthetic, and ability to champion the brand at every touchpoint
Comfortable designing for both print and digital assets
Solid foundational knowledge of visual design and demonstrated proficiency in the formal elements of design, including typography, layout, balance, proportion, rhythm, emphasis and unity
Active collaborator who engages with partners to make work better through an iterative approach
Natural ability to create compelling visual content that sharpens understanding of a business concept, strategy, or data
Natural ability to understand complex business strategy and simplify it for easy understanding
Excellent project management skills, with an ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously, easily adapt to changing priorities, and deal with ambiguity
Demonstrate a high attention to detail and accuracy
Comfortable working closely with high level executives and key partners
You are skilled in HTML and photography
As our Internal Experience Design Lead on the IS&S Internal Communication and Experience team, you will lead creative for various IS&S-wide employee facing initiatives including Internal Communication, Learning and Development, and People.
The ideal candidate will be a passionate visual designer with a mind for business, and a natural storyteller with an ability to help others find the story within their content. You will be, at times, a graphic designer, Keynote designer, storyteller, creative strategist and architect, instructional designer, and more. Your job will be to partner with each business lead to bring a number of exciting internal culture and engagement initiatives and programs to life in a creative way. We are looking for someone with can bring a lot of ideas to the table, work with a number of creative mediums to bring their vision to life, drive projects forward independently, and have the courage to challenge strong personalities and their ideas. A strong sense of humility and the ability to listen and take feedback is key to this role.
