Job Summary 

The Internal Communications Specialist supports Restore's business objectives through internal- and franchise-system communications. This role will develop and implement communication plans that align with the company's vision and objectives to ensure that communications are high quality, accurate, and professional. They will also act as a liaison between company departments to facilitate information flow. This role will utilize internal tools as appropriate to maximize the company’s internal communication effectiveness and ensure alignment of content with Brand Guidelines, CEO vision, and Leadership intent.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute internal communications strategy for the organization including key messaging, communication channels, and tactics.
  • Create internal communications content including internal newsletter, presentations, emails, and knowledge base pages (Confluence).  
  • Work with key organizational stakeholders to ensure all internal communication is clear, consistent, and aligned with the company’s goals and values.
  • Monitor and measure the effectiveness of internal communications, and make recommendations for improvement based on feedback and data analysis.
  • Develop and maintain a centralized communication calendar to ensure that internal communications are timely and relevant.
  • Identify opportunities to promote employee engagement and help foster a positive company culture.
  • Assist with time-sensitive communications, ensuring all franchisees/employees are informed and up-to-date.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Communications, Marketing, or similar preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications, or related field required
  • Previous experience working within a franchise system
  • Exceptional, professional oral and written communication skills
  • Strong project management experience
  • Experience with content creation and delivery including email, newsletters, conference calls, blogs, presentations, etc
  • Ability to work collaboratively with key stakeholders across the organization
  • Knowledge of and ability to articulate best practices within internal communications
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience managing and maintaining communication tools (Google suite of products, Zoom, Asana, etc.)
