Honeywell, a multi-national, Fortune 100 company, is looking for a Communications Specialist to support the Safety and Productivity Solutions (SPS) Communications team. The successful candidate will be someone who knows how to tell a good story, is a strong writer and editor, is a creative thinker and shows attention to detail. The candidate will use all resources to execute comprehensive and integrated campaigns to strengthen employee engagement and support company talent attraction and retention. We are looking for a candidate who is deadline driven, adapts quickly to changing circumstances, and possesses strong writing skills and business acumen.

Initially this role will be based in Fort Mill, SC with the potential to move to the Greater Charlotte area in the near future.


Act as Internal Communications support for the Integrated Supply Chain function including developing and delivering specific and targeted messaging around key business objectives.

Manage the SPS Rewards and Recognition program including assisting with identifying quality recipients and writing compelling nominations.

Support the planning and execution of major events, including SPS Town Halls Identify, develop and implement holistic communications through integrated, communications strategies, content development and use of multiple communications channels.

Develop content for written, video, online, presentation forums and social collaboration channels.

  • Bachelors degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing or Business

  • Minimum 5 years experience in internal communications


  • Editorial process planning.

  • Journalism experience preferred.

  • Excellent writing and editorial skills desired.

  • Experience with Office 365 tools and SharePoint online desired.

  • Ability to communicate using a variety of media and channels through an innovative mix of traditional and non-traditional communications to engage employees in company programs/initiatives.

  • Ability to present technical and often complex information in a clear and compelling manner.

  • Strong project management skills and the ability to execute.

  • Self-starter with the ability to thrive in an organizational structure where priorities can shift quickly.

  • Relationship building skills that enable the individual to influence thinking and outcomes through professional credibility.

  • Strong organizational skills; ability to handle multiple tasks, meet tight or changing deadlines and manage priorities.
