The Role:

Part of our team, you will plan, create and maintain BenefitMall's internal enterprise wide communications. Collaborate with leadership throughout organization to help maintain content strategy for all communications including social media

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cascade communications plans for key functional areas supporting internal communications programs, campaigns and video messages.

  • Responsible for formatting and distribution of employee communication across entire organization on a timely basis via email or posted on intranet.

  • Serve as project manager for employee events, including developing executive-level briefing materials, and serving as the traffic coordinator on all moving parts.

  • Collaborate with team leaders throughout the organization to develop and coordinate a content management strategy for internal communications across all communications channels including company intranet, email, social, blogs and newsletters ensuring consistency of message and alignment to overall company strategy.

  • Stay informed and aware of organizational operations and initiatives and identify areas where additional internal communication is needed (and serve as point of contact for suggestions from other staff) and develop a plan to meet those needs.

  • Establish and maintain measurement standards to provide meaningful information that will guide continual improvement and further drive employee engagement, satisfaction and retention. This also includes soliciting feedback and input on internal communications and recommending new systems and vehicles to improve the quality, consistency and timeliness of information.

  • Build and help execute an internal communications calendar, which includes the scheduling of company-wide meetings and employee events. Also assist the corporate recognition team in establishing a strong culture of recognition.

  • Facilitate the adoption of relevant social media best practices into the corporate culture and manage the company's internal social media related projects and undertake other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required

  • 2 to 5 years professional experience

  • Must be an outstanding writer, proofreader and copy editor.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Ability to multitask on projects requiring differing skill sets while maintaining high standards of work on a tight schedule in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.

  • Self-starter, proactive and willing to do what is required to deliver superior product and service.

  • Great team player with high degree of flexibility.

  • Experience with using SharePoint strongly preferred.

Expected duties would include developing and implementing a comprehensive public relations program for the Kidney Cancer Program, in close collaboration with the institutional communications team. Be responsible for directing video producers to develop short stories from patients and happenings in the KCP, ensuring institutional quality standards.
