The Challenge

The Internal Communications Lead will report into the Head of People Operations, and partner directly with our global leadership team. You will be responsible for developing and executing a cross-company internal communications strategy. You will involve multiple channels and forums that nurture a deep understanding of our business goals, while driving and supporting our culture.

Expectations for Success

You have developed a holistic communications strategy that authoritatively delivers meaningful content and messaging to Qualtrics' global employees. You have successfully built a communication framework that ensures consistent messaging through a variety of mediums and channels demonstrating all-hands meetings, our intranet, email, collateral, video, talking points, articles, blogs, social media, etc.

A Day in the Life

  • Assess the current communication channels and find opportunities for greater global alignment

  • Dedicatedly lead and execute internal communications projects and campaigns that align with our business objectives and core values

  • Work closely with senior leadership and department heads to influence a positive culture and engaged workforce

  • Collaborate with communications, PR, and marketing colleagues to ensure employees receive appropriate, timely, culturally-sensitive, and creative communications about upcoming announcements, events, and launches

  • Find innovative ways to measure employee sentiment and utilize data to drive creative internal communications campaign

About you

You are a premier communicator with an innate ability to read the room and tailor your creative communication strategy according to the audience. You have a validated background of being a thoughtful, and trusted advisor to employees and leaders at all levels. You have crafted out-of-the-box communication strategies to excite, engage and inform employees. At past employers, you were an ambassador of culture and a creative content delivery generator. You have an extensive background in all forms of communications, and an extraordinary formal education to accompany your vast experience.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities: * Manage an internal audit staff of between 8-10 professionals and interns, along with outside service providers as required * Lead the Company's Enterprise Risk Assessment program, including recommendation of solutions * Develop and execute the annual internal audit plan, consistent the priorities identified through the Enterprise Risk Assessment Process * Partner with Vivint management to implement recommendations resulting from internal audits * Proactively identify areas of process improvement and work with Vivint management to implement these improvements * Lead the Company's quarterly/annual SOX 404 compliance program * Provide assistance to the Company's external auditors * Assist in developing company policies and procedures, to ensure the existence of a strong control environment * Act as executive interface between interface between the Internal Audit Department, process owners and Vivint management. * Provide regular updates on internal audit activities to the Company's Audit Committee Required Skills: * Experience developing and executing internal audit plans and enterprise risk assessments for growing multi-national organizations * Proven record of managing an internal audit function focused on both proactive operational improvement and strengthening the organizational control environment * Detailed understanding of SOX 404 requirements * Extensive experience managing a SOX 404 compliance program * Knowledge and experience in application of control theory and professional auditing practices * Ability to manage and grow a results-driven team * Demonstrated track record of integrity, innovation and excellence. * Ability to interact effectively with all levels of management and the Board of Directors * Excellent written and verbal communications skills Required Experience: * 15+ years of experience in public accounting, and/or internal audit for a multi-national public company, with at least five years in an audit management role * Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance. Advance degree a plus * Professional Certification (CIA, CPA , or equivalent) * Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, including experience interacting with Audit Committees and external audit firms * Ability to adapt to change, and manage multiple simultaneous priorities Vivint Provo UT
