Experian's summer internship program offers the opportunity to learn about Experian's business and the core aspects the Internal Communications functions and principles through project work.

As a member of HR's team, you will contribute to Experian Decision Analytics' success by partnering with your mentors to assist with the direction for communications programs across the business unit. We are looking for someone who likes to be creative, thinks logically, and can work independently, as well as through partnerships and teamwork.

Internship Responsibilities May Include:

Internal Communications Planning and Execution

  • Assist with engaging, informing, and directing employees about the company's strategy and business priorities.

  • Pull monthly analytics reports on employee engagement.

  • Produce high-quality written and visual content (executive video messages, newsletters, posters, etc.).

  • Assist with getting creative communications from conception through publication.

Employee Portal & Intranet.

  • Maintain our internal news portal blog content including written, visual, and user interaction elements.


  • Consistently reinforce Experian brand, culture, and transformational journey throughout communication channels.

  • Plan monthly employee lunch events with the culture committee.

  • Network with employees within Experian.

Desired Characteristics:

  • Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving skills, ability to learn concepts quickly.

  • Excellent organizational, project management, and time management skills.

  • Self-motivated with a positive and professional approach to relationship management.

  • Strong writing, editing, proofreading, layout skills; design skills a plus.

  • Confident communicator who can work with all levels of management.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Premiere Pro).

  • Proficiency in camerawork and simple light setups.

  • Duration: 3-6 months (summer internship)

Based in Costa Mesa, CA, at our North American headquarters, the role includes driving Experian's culture by identifying, developing, and communicating company initiatives, events, programs, and key messages that reflect corporate direction.
