Toll Brothers, America's Luxury Home Builder, seeks a Internal Auditor for our Corporate office in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania.

What is the opportunity?

This position is expected to plan, perform and communicate audit engagements, both individually or working with a small team. This position will be assigned audit engagements that are of moderate complexity and will lead audit engagements. This position would interface with all levels of management and work closely with Accounting and the company's external auditors.

What are the primary responsibilities?

  • Lead moderately complex planning, scoping, execution and reporting of operational, financial, and compliance value-added internal audits in accordance with professional standards.

  • Develop and present clear and concise reports on the results of audit examinations, including identifying risks and making recommendations to help mitigate the risks.

  • Support the internal audit team (internal and third-party providers in the annual assessment of the effective of internal controls over financial reporting for SOX purposes, and help ensure the company meets all annual SOX compliance requirements.)

  • Coordinate and plan assignments, book travel, expense reporting, staff meetings and other administrative duties.

  • Review less-complex workpaper and audit reports for accuracy and completeness.

  • Sarbanes-Oxley Knowledge:Familiarity with internal control over financial reporting and significant accounting policies impacting the company

  • Auditing: Familiarity with the IIA Professional Practices Framework

Do you have these qualifications?

  • Essential:

  • BS in Accounting or related field

  • 2-5 years of auditing or related experience

  • Understanding of risk-based internal auditing

  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills

  • Technologically fluent

  • Solid ethical foundation

  • Ability to travel (15-20%)

  • Preferred:

  • CIA or CPA certification

  • Committed to lifelong learning

The Work Itself * You will partner with Ally technology and cyber leaders, working cross-functionally to enhance the audit experience and promote visibility and partnership. * You will supervise team members assigned to audit projects; typically leading one audit at a time and including work paper review. * You will proactively lead work assignments to promote execution within established budgets and achievements. * You will own the development, execution, and documentation of technology audit tests and issue validations in accordance with Audit Services policies and procedures. * You will facilitate the vetting of potential audit findings, identifying root causes, and articulating their relevance. * You will coordinate timely execution of issues validations in accordance with Audit Services policies and procedures. * Your meaningful, constructive feedback on work performed will assist in the training and/or mentoring of less experienced staff members. * Your use of data literacy and analytics will provide consultation to management regarding emerging control practices across all areas of Ally technology. * Your proactive communication skills with management and peers will drive alignment to mitigate customer service issues before they occur. * Your technical knowledge, creativity and improved mentality will be crucial when performing projects as assigned to assist with analyzing Ally's risk and control environment. * Your participation in Audit Transformation initiatives will be essential to the continued improvement to the enterprise and its continuing role within Ally business.
