Working as a business partner to analyze policies and practices, identify opportunities for improvements in risk and control areas, and ensure accuracy and organization of internal controls.
Working with the Chief Audit Executive and multicultural Internal Audit team on a variety of projects, while reporting to the Senior Audit Manager.
Working with heads of business units and key stakeholders, including Corporate Finance, Information Technology (IT), Legal, and Supply Chain, as trusted advisors to the organization.
Main Responsibilities
Assist in execution of the audit plan from audit planning, fieldwork, to the reporting.
Conduct financial, operational, or IT audits, utilizing methods of inquiring, observing, inspecting, and/or re-performing process and controls.
Develop, build & implement practices and/or tools to improve audit efficiency and effectiveness.
Synthesize and draw recommendations that add value to the entity, site, organization, or process under review.
Interact closely with guest auditor and co-source resources to understand our business, business risks, and controls to effectively execute audit activities.
Work with the Senior Manager on conducting internal audit analytics, sampling, and timely auditing to support business processes.
Requirements
You have a bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, finance, economics, information systems, or computer science with a career interest in auditing.
You have experience in accounting or audit (IT or financial); experience in compliance, operations, sales, and/or supply chain, is a plus.
You have or are pursuing professional certifications, including but not limited to the CPA, CISA, and CIA.
You appreciate internal controls and the fundamentals of risk management, including knowledge base of regulatory requirements (e.g., SOX) and internal control frameworks (e.g., COBIT, COSO); on the job training will be provided if no prior experience.
You have a process improvement mindset with a touch of professional skepticism and intellectual curiosity.
You build credibility on day one, intending to find the right answer, not just to be right.
You are apt in following-up for information, double-checking if received files are complete, and corroborating information; results focused and dynamic communicator.
You possess acuteness of skillset and tools of the trade, including XLOOKUP, data visualizations, information security, project management principles, and technical expertise.
You are in the comfort zone when structuring work plans and defining objectives, as well as embracing change, with open-mindedness.
You read, listen, and/or converse beyond English; Malay, Mandarin, Filipino, and/or Spanish is a plus.
You are a US Citizen or a US Permanent Resident.
