We are currently seeking a Manager, Internal Audit based in Addison, IL.

This role will play a key role in the development and execution of a risk-based audit plan and will lead the implementation of various internal audit department initiatives. This individual will work closely with the CFO, Corporate Controller, as well as business unit finance. This position will have 1-2 direct reports and manage the work of external consultants.

What you'll do

• Participate in Risk Assessment and Annual Audit Plan development

• Plan and perform financial, operational and compliance audits in accordance with the audit plan and department audit methodology

• Manage audit staff including supervising, reviewing workpapers and reports, training, and hiring (as applicable)

• Issue audit reports that are timely, accurate, clear, concise, well-written, and are of a quality to be presented to Senior Management and the Audit Committee

• Participate in the development of written department procedures, templates and standards

• Implement and maintain audit workpaper tools

• Perform special projects, including investigations and other duties as assigned

• Participate in the preparation of materials for the Company's Audit Committee of the Board of Directors' meetings

What we need from you

• 5+ years of internal auditing, public accounting or related experience

• 2+ years of people leadership / supervisory experience

• Bachelor's degree in Finance / Accounting or a related field; Master's degree preferred

• Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is preferred

• High level proficiency PC skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint

• Oracle PBCS and Power BI knowledge a plus

• Communicates effectively at all levels both verbally and in writing

• Can succinctly influence and get messages across that have desired effect

• Possess outstanding project management skills with the ability to effectively plan and manage multiple projects with high quality result within a defined timeframe.

• Can proactively marshal resources, including people, to get tasks done; can orchestrate multiple activities at once to accomplish a goal

• Uses resources effectively and efficiently; arranges information and files in a useful manner.
